DIC Mount is a next-generation intelligent infrared sensor designed for clients who require high precision. It is ideal for entrances over 2 meters wide, especially those with automatic door openers or buildings with roll-lattice. The sensor consists of a receiving and a transmitting component. The receiver connects to the visit registration device, while the transmitter connects to its own power supply. The beam range between the two components is up to 15 meters.
The sensor features two infrared beams: one for detection and the other as a control beam to eliminate potential counting errors. It also includes internal memory to register all detections, even during rapid flows of people. The sensor is easily mounted by gluing it directly to the door frame or a suitable surface. When doors are opened manually, the sensor should be placed on the side opposite the door opening direction
